Baskin-Robbins is set to make waves this November with its Flavor of the Month, which takes a bold step by transforming a classic holiday appetizer into an ice cream flavor that may spark debate among dessert enthusiasts.
Following last year’s limited-edition Turkey Day ice cream, which combined flavors reminiscent of Thanksgiving favorites like sweet potatoes, cranberries, and honey cornbread, this year’s offering promises to be even more intriguing. In a recent news release to Parade, the ice cream retailer announced its new flavor, “Brie My Guest,” inspired by the elements of a cheeseboard.
According to Baskin-Robbins, “Brie My Guest” features a peach-hued ice cream that blends the flavors of brie and burrata, enhanced with almonds, pistachio pieces, and apricot swirls. The company aims to create an experience akin to a rich cheesecake, inviting adventurous palates to try this unconventional dessert.
In addition to the new flavor, Baskin-Robbins will reintroduce its popular Turkey Cake, designed to resemble a perfectly roasted turkey, complete with sugar cone legs and a caramel praline glaze. Customers can personalize the cake with their choice of ice cream flavor. Notably, those who pre-order the Turkey Cake through the BR App between November 1 and 15 will receive a $5 discount.
Jerid Grandinetti, Vice President of Baskin-Robbins’ marketing and culinary division, emphasized the brand’s commitment to creating memorable holiday experiences. “Our new Flavor of the Month is a bold twist on the best parts of a cheeseboard that will delight your guests and spark conversation at the table,” he stated.
Baskin-Robbins isn’t alone in celebrating Thanksgiving through creative offerings; several brands, including Arby’s, Target, Lay’s, KFC, Campbell’s, Pepperidge Farm, and DiGiorno, are also introducing limited-edition products this holiday season.
