THE WOODLANDS, TX – November 21, 2024 – OddFellows Ice Cream Co., the innovative ice cream brand known for its creative flavors and fun, retro atmosphere, is opening its first franchise location in The Woodlands, Texas, on Thursday, November 21, 2024. To celebrate the grand opening, the shop will offer $3 single scoops all day.
The new location, situated at 1900 Lake Woodlands Dr, will feature a wide array of ice cream offerings, from classic scoops to unique creations. In addition to traditional ice cream, guests can enjoy vegan options, sorbets, soft serve, juice pops, and espresso drinks in an environment designed for fun and nostalgia.
“We’re thrilled to bring OddFellows, born in Brooklyn, to The Woodlands, which is one of the best places to live in the country,” said Mohan Kumar, Co-Owner of OddFellows Ice Cream. “Our goal is to offer a truly inventive ice cream experience, and we can’t wait for the local community to try it.”
The Woodlands shop will showcase a rotating selection of 24 flavors, including popular options like Sprinkles, Coffee Crunch, and Cookies and Cream, as well as seasonal specialties such as Honey Rosemary, Lemon Meringue Pie, and Passionberry Sugar Cookie. Non-dairy and vegan flavors will also be available, including Mango Coconut Sticky Rice, Chocolate Chunk, and Exotic Fruits Sorbet.
OddFellows Ice Cream Co. was founded in Brooklyn, New York, by Mohan Kumar and James Beard-nominated chef Sam Mason. The company’s origin story traces back to a craving for savory ice cream during Kumar’s wife Holiday’s pregnancy. Today, OddFellows boasts more than 500 handcrafted flavors, thanks to Mason’s inventive recipes.
The new The Woodlands location is expected to become a local favorite, offering a delightful and diverse range of treats for ice cream lovers of all kinds.
