Blue Moon Brewing Co. is bringing a new twist to summer treats with the launch of a boozy ice cream, created in collaboration with sporting goods brand Rawlings and the alcohol-infused ice cream maker Hardscoop. The limited-edition dessert, called Blue Moon Home Run Twist, blends the classic flavors of Blue Moon beer with a creamy, frozen treat for the perfect combination of summer indulgence.
The Blue Moon Home Run Twist ice cream features a unique mix of Madagascar vanilla and Valencia orange peel, which reflects the signature citrus notes of Blue Moon’s popular brew. Despite its boozy origins, the ice cream has a mild flavor profile that tastes more like a refreshing orange dessert than a traditional beer-flavored treat. With an alcohol content of just 2% ABV, the ice cream offers a subtle kick without overpowering the sweetness.
“We had a great time working with Blue Moon to match the sweet and citrusy flavor of their iconic Valencia Orange peel, and we think we nailed that with Blue Moon Home Run Twist,” said Jason Kirby, president of Hardscoop.
For fans eager to try the new dessert, Blue Moon Home Run Twist is available for purchase online at Hardscoop from May 17–23, while supplies last. The two-pack costs $49 and comes with a collectible Blue Moon x Rawlings mini helmet, designed to resemble the classic helmets served at baseball stadiums. Customers can also add optional toppings, including caramel corn and peanuts, to complete the ballpark experience.
The collaboration blends the nostalgia of baseball with the indulgence of a unique dessert, offering fans a new way to enjoy America’s pastime.
