FORT WORTH – Blue Bell Creameries is launching a new ice cream flavor just in time for summer: A&W Root Beer Float. The Texas-based company announced that the treat will feature a combination of creamy vanilla ice cream and A&W Root Beer-flavored sherbet.
The new flavor will be available in both half-gallon and pint sizes and will remain on shelves through 2025, Blue Bell confirmed.
John Neal Robinson, Blue Bell’s general sales manager, said the company had received numerous requests for an A&W Root Beer Float ice cream. “After the success of last year’s Dr Pepper Float Ice Cream, we were excited to collaborate again to create another refreshing flavor,” Robinson said. “We recommend enjoying it in a chilled mug, just like your favorite root beer.”
This new offering joins Blue Bell’s growing lineup of innovative ice cream flavors and is expected to be a hit with fans of classic summer floats.
