Goshen, NY — In a bid to expand its operations, Trailside Treats Creamery has purchased the building at 99 Railroad Avenue in Goshen, previously occupied by Roccoroma. The new location will serve as a year-round ice cream parlor, complementing the creamery’s seasonal stand at St. James Place.
The purchase was finalized on November 15, according to Trailside Treats owner Paul Corey. The acquisition allows the business to scale up production and offer a wider range of ice cream products. “We had been looking for a larger space to make and store more ice cream and reintroduce our ice cream cakes,” Corey said. “The space at our St. James location is too small for that. In this new building, we will produce ice cream, develop new flavors, and create a 1920s-themed ice cream parlor where customers can step back in time when they walk through the door.”
Corey aims to have the new parlor open this winter, though the St. James location will continue operating seasonally, from April to October. “Our original stand will remain as it is, but the new location will allow us to produce the ice cream and serve customers more efficiently,” Corey added.
