A new ice cream shop, Sweet Retreat Texas, is set to open in Liberty Hill in spring 2025. The shop will be located at 15395 Hwy. 29, in the strip center next to Jardin Corona.
Owner Rebecca Maxwell announced that the shop will feature hard ice cream from The Chocolate Shoppe, a Wisconsin-based company known for using fresh, whole ingredients, including farm-fresh milk.
“Our menu will include ice cream scoops, specialty sundaes, malts, shakes, specialty floats, and affogatos,” Maxwell said.
The shop’s ambiance will combine an old-school ice cream parlor vibe with a modern twist, complete with bar tops for seating and old-school movies playing for customers to enjoy while they eat.
“This will be a place you’ll want to stay and hang out for a bit,” Maxwell added. “We’re hoping we’ll be just what the community is looking for.”
