Peeps, the iconic marshmallow brand, is adding a new twist to its Easter lineup with a cookies and cream-flavored marshmallow chick. Developed in collaboration with Breyers, this new flavor draws inspiration from the beloved cookies and cream ice cream.
The Peeps Cookies & Cream variety is just one of several new flavors for the holiday season, joining an already diverse selection that includes cotton candy, Dr Pepper, fruit punch, blue raspberry, party cake, Rice Krispies Treats, sour watermelon, chocolate pudding, cinnamon churro, and tropical punch.
Peeps, known for its colorful sugar-coated marshmallows shaped into playful springtime figures, has expanded its flavor portfolio in recent years through a variety of creative partnerships. Notably, the brand introduced Peeps-flavored coffee creamer with International Delight in 2019 and Peeps cereal with Kellogg’s. In 2021, Peeps even collaborated with Pepsi to release a marshmallow-flavored soda.
As Peeps gears up for the Easter season, other brands are focusing on unique Valentine’s Day-themed offerings. For instance, Van Leeuwen Ice Cream launched five special-edition pints inspired by the five love languages: gift-giving, words of affirmation, physical touch, quality time, and acts of service. Each flavor is available exclusively at Kroger stores and reflects the spirit of its respective love language, with choices such as Hug Me Hazelnut Truffle and You’re My Brown Sugar Cookie Butter.
Peeps’ creative ventures and new product releases are keeping the festive spirit alive, ahead of both Valentine’s Day and Easter.
