Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt in Colleyville is set to close its doors just shy of its 10-year anniversary. The popular California-based frozen yogurt shop, known for its self-serve offerings and variety of toppings, announced via social media that its final day of operation will be January 20.
Located in the Colleyville Downs shopping center, the store opened its doors in February 2015. It quickly became a favorite for locals, serving up a range of frozen yogurt flavors with an array of toppings, including fruits, chocolate chips, sprinkles, and tapioca balls.
In its farewell message, the store’s social media post expressed gratitude to its customers and staff. “Our staff will deeply miss all of you, and we want to wish you a blessed 2025,” the post read. “To celebrate our final week, we want to go out with smiles instead of tears. Join us for a fun-filled week as we create more happy memories together. We hope to see you one last time.”
This closure follows the closure of another Menchie’s location in the Alliance area of Fort Worth in July 2024, which had directed customers to the Colleyville store as an alternative.
