The popular YouTube collective, Sidemen, has teamed up with Beechdean, an ice cream manufacturer, to introduce their ice cream range to retail stores. The move comes after strong demand from restaurant patrons and marks the next step in the brand’s expansion.
First launched in December 2024 at the Sidemen’s Sides restaurants, the ice cream range will now be available in Iceland, a major frozen food retailer. The core flavors of the collection include Cookie Dough Core, Chocolate Millionaire’s, Salted Caramel Cake, and Chocolate Brownie Fudge Cake.
The Salted Caramel Cake and Chocolate Brownie Fudge Cake varieties have already secured retail listings and will be on shelves starting February 11.
Produced exclusively by Beechdean at its Cheshire-based ice cream manufacturing facility, the Sidemen’s ice cream has received positive feedback from restaurant customers. Gordon McDermott, food director at Sides, shared his enthusiasm, noting the overwhelming response: “The reaction to these ice creams in Sides restaurants has been phenomenal… We literally had people buying tubs and tubs like they were in a shop, saying they were taking them home to put in the freezer.”
He also praised Beechdean for handling the high demand, adding, “Beechdean has been amazing. Only they could keep up with the staggering demand of our fans. You can’t buy Marshmallow Cake ice cream anywhere else, and we can’t wait to watch this brand grow and match or even overtake the success we’ve seen with our other brands.”
This ice cream launch comes as the Sidemen’s Best Cereal also collaborates with Netflix to introduce a new Honeycomb Crisp cereal, inspired by the popular series Squid Game 2.
