Eclipse Ice Cream Shop, located at 105 West Butler Street in Bryan, Ohio, is now officially open, offering a unique combination of traditional American and Latin American desserts and food. The shop, situated on the south side of the historic Williams County Courthouse Square, is owned and operated by Ignacio Romero, who also runs Tacos Nacho.
The grand opening event was attended by a variety of local figures, including Romero’s family, Bryan city officials, and representatives from local organizations. Among the attendees were Romero’s son, Oliver, Pastor Mike Kelly, and several community leaders such as Bryan Area Foundation President/CEO Amy Miller and City of Bryan Mayor Carrie Schlade. The ribbon-cutting ceremony featured a first taste of the ice cream, churros, and other delicious offerings at the shop.
Eclipse is open from Monday to Thursday, 12:00-9:00 p.m., and on weekends, 12:00-10:00 p.m. The new business will be a fresh addition to the Bryan community, expanding the food options available to both residents and visitors.
The shop’s renovation was made possible through the support of the Community Impact Project Fund at the Bryan Area Foundation, which provided crucial financial assistance to restore the historic building. This allows Romero to further expand his restaurant offerings in Northwest Ohio.
