LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Just under two weeks ago, Jeff Clemons opened the doors to We Scream Ice Cream Parlor in Germantown. At this stage, Clemons is keeping things simple, prioritizing the essentials as he introduces his business to the local community.
“We are currently very simple,” said Clemons. “We’re offering scoops of ice cream, waffle cones, cake cones, and snow cones during the summer.”
While Clemons continues to work in the tech industry, his passion for ice cream is rooted in a desire to bring joy and connection to others. He emphasizes that his goal is more about creating fun and fostering relationships than about financial gain.
“I’ve been having the time of my life with all this,” Clemons shared enthusiastically. “It’s like humble bartending. You get to meet new people, put smiles on their faces, and they enjoy the place.”
Though he and his staff are focused on providing a simple experience for now, Clemons has bigger aspirations for We Scream Ice Cream, with a vision that extends beyond profits.
