Big Chicken, the fast-growing restaurant chain founded by NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal, will celebrate the basketball star’s 53rd birthday on Thursday by offering free ice cream cones to customers at its Rosemont location.
The special promotion, which is available while supplies last, will be offered at the restaurant located at 9437 W. Higgins Road. Customers can enjoy one complimentary ice cream cone per person, with no purchase required.
The first Big Chicken franchise in Illinois, opened by franchisees Ken and Vishal Patel, launched in July 2023. O’Neal made an appearance at the restaurant the following month to celebrate the opening. The Patels have also announced plans to open a second Big Chicken location at 100 W. Rand Road in Arlington Heights.
