Filipino-Japanese experimental pop singer-songwriter Ena Mori has announced an exciting collaboration with Häagen-Dazs Japan. The singer revealed on March 8, 2025, that her track “Trust Me” will serve as the official song for the ice cream brand’s latest commercial promoting The Milk ice cream cup.
Mori expressed her enthusiasm for the partnership, sharing on social media, “So excited to share that my song, ‘Trust Me,’ is the new commercial song for ‘The Milk’ cup of Häagen-Dazs Japan.” She also mentioned that The Milk is one of her favorite ice cream flavors, making the collaboration even more special for her.
The commercial features Japanese actress Nakanishi Kiara, known for her role as a young figure skater in the 2024 drama film My Sunshine. In the movie, Kiara’s character, Sakura, inspires a budding hockey player named Takuya to take up figure skating, leading to a heartwarming journey under the guidance of her coach, Arakawa.
“Trust Me,” released by Mori on July 26, 2024, is a follow-up to her track “Heartache Generation.” According to Billboard Philippines, the song delves into the emotional struggles of seeking self-worth and honesty in relationships, confronting internal insecurities, and aspiring for a more authentic life.
Fans can now enjoy both the commercial and the emotional depth of Mori’s music, as “Trust Me” accompanies the ad for Häagen-Dazs Japan’s The Milk ice cream.
