Plans are underway for a new mobile snack bar to grace the picturesque setting of John Muir Country Park, located near West Barns in East Lothian.
A planning application, currently under consideration by East Lothian Council, proposes the installation of a mobile snack bar at the Linkfield Car Park within the park premises. The application, submitted by Lauder-based Tommy To You, seeks permission for the snack van to operate daily from 10am to 7pm for the duration of three years.
According to accompanying documentation, the proposed snack bar would primarily focus on offering a variety of ice cream flavors, alongside soft and hot beverages, as well as confectionery items.
A decision regarding the application is anticipated to be reached by the conclusion of next month.
