Glasgow’s bustling West End welcomes a new addition this week with the opening of Crumbs, located near popular spots like Loop & Scoop and Cottonrake Bakery. Specializing in artisan ice cream, specialty coffee, and baked goods, Crumbs will open its doors on Wednesday, May 29.
Crumbs aims to offer food enthusiasts a unique experience with six daily ice cream flavors, featuring innovative options such as rhubarb and basil, toasted coconut, and crème brûlée. A vegan option will be available every day, including a rich chocolate and sea salt sorbet.
Committed to quality, Crumbs’ bakers and ice cream makers use fresh, seasonal produce sourced locally, making everything in-house whenever possible. The venue is also dog-friendly, offering treats like puppiccinos, dog-friendly ice lollies, and peanut butter ‘pupcakes’ for canine visitors.
“We are excited to bring unique flavors to Great Western Road,” said baker Noeme. “We saw a gap in the market for something fresh and exciting. Our ice cream, sweet, and savory bakes are all homemade on-site each day, allowing us to experiment with flavors and serve only the freshest treats.”
Crumbs is the sister venue to La Masa, a taco bar that opened in Glasgow city center in February.
