Organized by Noms Magazine, this eagerly anticipated event promises a delectable array of frozen treats to beat the summer heat, running from June 21 to August 5 across Metro Vancouver.
With over 25 esteemed participants, including ice cream parlors, gelato shops, and cafes, the festival aims to offer a diverse selection of cool delights to delight community members throughout the season. Returning favorites from Richmond include Soft Peaks Ice Cream, J Square Ice Cream, Matcha Cafe Maiko, and Milkcow Cafe, while newcomers to the festival scene from the city include The Praguery, Daan Go Cake Lab, and Bubble Queen.
Jason Yeh, founder of Noms Magazine and the festival’s organizer, expressed excitement for the event’s return, highlighting the overwhelming response received last year and anticipating an even greater turnout this time around. “We’re thrilled to bring back the Vancouver Ice Cream Festival for the second year,” said Yeh. “Last year we had an amazing turnout, and we’re so excited to see more people come out, enjoy the special creations, and support the local food businesses.”
