PITTSBURGH, PA (KDKA) – Tastyland, a beloved ice cream shop, has revealed plans for its second location, signaling an expansion for the popular brand.
Situated at the former Pro Bike + Run store along William Penn Highway near the Miracle Mile shopping center, the new outlet marks a significant stride for the company.
The announcement was made via social media by the owners, who acknowledged that obtaining permits and undertaking construction will consume 8-12 months. They emphasized that the process of launching the second location will be meticulous.
Although an official opening date for the Monroeville branch is yet to be disclosed, anticipation is already building among ice cream enthusiasts.
Tastyland’s inaugural establishment, operating since the 1950s, resides on Route 66 in Greensburg, boasting a longstanding reputation for its delectable treats.
