Betty Rae’s Ice Cream, a beloved staple in the Kansas City area, is set to open its fifth location in late July, continuing its expansion across the metro. The new shop will be situated at 5330 West 95th Street in Meadowbrook Village, Prairie Village.
Known for its homemade ice cream crafted with 26 core flavors including classics like Vanilla Bean and Chocolate, Betty Rae’s also offers monthly creations and seasonal collaborations such as Joe’s KC BBQ & Burnt Ends. The ice cream shop is celebrated for its homemade waffle cones, ice cream sandwiches, and indulgent sundaes.
This expansion follows the successful opening of Betty Rae’s third location in Olathe last year, alongside the introduction of its top flavors in pint form at nearly 30 grocery stores across the Kansas City area. The ice creamery currently operates locations in the River Market, Waldo, and will soon open in Merriam.
