Happy Joe’s Pizza & Ice Cream is set to open a new location in Surprise, Arizona, as part of a broader development initiative spearheaded by franchisee Mukhpal Toor, according to a recent press release.
Tom Sacco, CEO and “chief happiness officer” of Happy Joe’s, expressed enthusiasm about the expansion. “Expanding into Surprise marks an exciting step in our growth strategy. We are committed to bringing Happy Joe’s unique brand of pizza, ice cream, and family entertainment to new communities. With Mukhpal Toor leading this project, we are confident this location will be a fantastic addition to the area and a springboard for future developments across the region.”
The new restaurant will be situated at the northwest corner of Peoria Avenue and Reems Road, within a development that will also include a shopping center, a Chevron Extra Mile convenience store, an express car wash, and several additional dining options.
Founded in 1972, Happy Joe’s currently operates eight company-owned and 34 franchised locations. The brand has recently secured a deal to expand its presence in Illinois.
