Dippin’ Dots is taking its iconic beaded ice cream to a new level with the introduction of its Ice Cream Sundaes, marking the brand’s first foray into the grocery freezer aisle. Starting in January 2025, fans of the frozen treat can enjoy the beloved ice cream in a convenient, individually portioned cup.
“This launch represents an exciting new chapter for the Dippin’ Dots brand,” said Dan Fachner, president and CEO of J&J Snack Foods. “We’re thrilled to bring this innovative new product into homes across the country.”
The new Ice Cream Sundaes feature a deluxe, three-tiered design and come in two popular flavors: Cookies ‘n Cream and Cotton Candy. Each sundae is a mix of the brand’s signature beaded ice cream, creamy ice cream layers, crunchy cookie pieces, and a flavorful sauce topping.
Lynwood Mallard, Chief Marketing Officer at J&J Snack Foods, emphasized the importance of consumer feedback in shaping the product. “Our consumers told us they wanted a way to enjoy Dippin’ Dots at home,” Mallard said. “We listened and are proud to introduce the new Ice Cream Sundaes.”
The Dippin’ Dots Ice Cream Sundaes will debut at Kroger stores in January 2025, with plans for wider distribution to other retailers throughout the year. Each box will contain four 4-ounce sundae cups, priced at a suggested retail price of $6.99.
