For many, the sight of Martinelli’s signature green glass bottle, adorned with its white foil top, gold emblems, and holly berry-red cursive label, marks the beginning of the holiday season. Now, the iconic sparkling apple cider is being reimagined in a delicious new form: ice cream.
In a unique collaboration, Martinelli’s has partnered with McConnell’s Fine Ice Cream to create a limited-edition festive flavor: Apple Cider and Cranberry Jam. The new ice cream, which combines the crisp, effervescent taste of Martinelli’s sparkling apple cider with McConnell’s rich, sweet cream base, is enhanced by ribbons of tart cranberry jam, offering a sweet yet tangy holiday treat.
Starting Friday, fans can order the exclusive ice cream for nationwide shipping or find it at McConnell’s scoop shops across Southern California. The ice cream is priced at $12 per 16-ounce pint and will be available while supplies last.
“This flavor combines over 200 years of California heritage,” the brands shared in a statement. “Martinelli’s sparkling apple cider provides a delightful, crisp base, while McConnell’s creamy ice cream and homemade cranberry jam create a festive, flavorful experience.”
With the release, Martinelli’s and McConnell’s aim to bring holiday cheer in a whole new way, offering a treat that’s as nostalgic as it is innovative.
