Costco Canada has issued a recall for its Brownie Skillet with Vanilla Ice Cream, warning consumers that the dessert may contain pieces of rubber, posing a choking hazard.
The recall, initiated by Sorrisa Group Inc., which produces the dessert, follows a consumer complaint about the potential contamination. The company has urged anyone in possession of the product to return it to their local Costco store for a full refund.
Consumers are advised not to consume the Brownie Skillet with Vanilla Ice Cream, nor should they serve it to others. The affected product was sold exclusively at Costco locations in Ontario between November 7 and December 18, 2023.
Sorrisa Group Inc. has emphasized that the safety of their products is a top priority and has taken swift action in response to the report.
