Breyers Ice Cream fans are no strangers to exciting collaborations, having previously teamed up with major candy brands like Reese’s and M&M’s. The company’s inventive approach to desserts, including its signature New York-style cheesecake ice cream, has built a loyal fanbase. However, its latest collaboration with Peeps might just be the most exciting yet.
On December 26, popular food blogger Markie Devo revealed that Peeps and Breyers had teamed up to create a Cookies & Cream-flavored marshmallow, sparking a wave of excitement among dessert lovers. The marshmallow, inspired by Breyers’ classic Cookies & Cream ice cream, is already available exclusively at Walmart.
Fans of both brands quickly took to social media to express their enthusiasm. One fan wrote, “Omg if these actually taste good, it’ll be a dream come true as a marshmallow & cookies n creme fan.” Others chimed in with comments like, “Oooh yum!” and “Interesting concept for Peeps,” speculating whether the marshmallow would taste like ice cream or its namesake cookies and cream.
Some commenters appeared to have already sampled the new treat. One shared, “These are good!” while another noted, “Got these today! Not really any cookie flavor, but they DO taste like vanilla ice cream!” Despite their initial skepticism, some fans who typically dislike Peeps admitted they were intrigued by the unique pairing.
This collaboration isn’t the only exciting news from Breyers this season. Earlier in December, the brand announced a new partnership with Hershey’s to launch a S’mores Campfire Collection ice cream flavor, set to hit shelves in January 2025.
As the Peeps and Breyers collaboration continues to gain attention, it’s clear that the ice cream company is not slowing down in its quest to bring inventive and mouthwatering flavors to fans.
