Frozen Heart, a popular Taiwanese dessert chain, has officially opened its latest outlet at VivoCity, one of Singapore’s largest shopping malls. The new store, located at Basement 2, is offering its signature deep-fried ice cream, a treat that has earned the brand a devoted following across Taiwan.
First introduced to Singapore in 2023 at Jewel Changi Airport, Frozen Heart now expands its presence with over 40 outlets across Taiwan. The brand is best known for its fried ice cream—milk toast, deep-fried to create a golden, crispy crust, encasing a creamy, cold gelato center.
Each serving is freshly fried to order and priced at $5.50, with a choice of seven flavours: Apple Blueberry, Taiwan Top Fresh Strawberry, Taiwan Mango Yogurt Passion Fruit, Chocolate, Classic Vanilla, Sea Salt Peanut, and Aurora Starry Sky (mint chocolate chip). For those looking to indulge, there’s also the Musang King Durian variant, available for $7.50 and made with premium MSW durian from Malaysia.
To get more value for money, customers can opt for a set of three fried ice creams for $14. Additionally, Frozen Heart offers customisation options, allowing customers to top up $2 for a fruit spread and two additional toppings.
For the best experience, it’s recommended to enjoy the fried gelato immediately as the ice cream tends to melt quickly after being fried.
