HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) — Alsies, a technology-driven ice cream truck franchise, has announced plans to expand into the Harrisburg area, with service set to begin in March 2025. The franchise, known for its gourmet ice cream offerings, will bring its unique blend of neighborhood routes, event catering, and on-demand delivery via a mobile app to local residents.
The Harrisburg location will be operated by Scott Shapiro, Alsies’ first franchisee, alongside his wife Kellie and their children. The Shapiro family expressed enthusiasm about joining the Alsies brand and contributing to the community.
