With temperatures soaring across Australia, the call to find ways to cool down has never been more urgent. Iconic ice cream brand Drumstick has risen to the challenge with two bold new flavours designed to deliver the ultimate summer treat.
The new additions to the Drumstick range – Saucy Dulce De Leche and Saucy Strawberry – promise to be a delicious escape from the heat. The launch of these flavours comes as Drumstick is surging in popularity, with 285 cones sold every minute in 2024. The brand expects demand to increase further as customers flock to try the latest offerings.
The Saucy Dulce De Leche cone features layers of sweet cream and buttery caramel, drizzled with rich dulce caramel syrup and topped with Drumstick’s signature chocolate tip. For those craving a fruity twist, the Saucy Strawberry cone combines creamy strawberry ice cream with strawberry syrup, finished with a classic chocolate flavour.
Excited about the launch, Drumstick Brand Manager Michael Dib said: “Summer is here and we’re bringing the sauce! Whether you’re a caramel fan or a strawberry lover, these flavourful Drumsticks give you double the sauce and double the fun. We guarantee they’ll leave you wanting more.”
The new flavour is now available in packs of four with a recommended retail price (RRP) of $9.50 and you can currently buy Saucy Dulce De Leche cones for $9.50 at major supermarkets including Coles, Woolworths and independent retailers. Additionally, you can buy a single Saucy Dulce De Leche cone for $5 at petrol stations and convenience stores.
However, Drumstick warns that the new cones are only available in limited quantities while stocks last, urging customers to act quickly to secure their summer treat. As temperatures rise, these delicious treats will become a must-have for Australians looking for a refreshing and enjoyable way to beat the heat.
