Bal Harbour Shops is marking its 60th anniversary with the return of its highly anticipated Ice Cream We Love event, scheduled for January 18 and 19. The beloved open-air shopping destination will be transformed into a haven for sweet treats, offering Miami residents the perfect opportunity to indulge in a variety of decadent desserts. Proceeds from the event will benefit Holtz Children’s Hospital at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Medical Center, funding essential care and programs for young patients.
Launched in 2017, Ice Cream We Love honors the legacy of Stanley Whitman, the founder of Bal Harbour Shops, and his continued commitment to philanthropy. “This event not only brings our community together to enjoy delicious treats, but it also plays a crucial role in funding vital services for the children and families at Holtz Children’s Hospital. It’s truly an honor to be part of such a meaningful initiative,” said Matthew Whitman Lazenby, president and CEO of Whitman Family Development.
The two-day event will feature a wide range of mouthwatering options, including artisanal gelato by Dolci Peccati and tropical popsicles by Cielito Artisan Pops, among others. Attendees can explore over 15 dessert brands, including favorites such as Shake Shack, The Baked Bear, Milky Ways Cereal Bar, and Le Zoo, Bal Harbour Shops’ very own restaurant. The celebration will also include live music, balloon twisting, a bubble artist, and other family-friendly activities.
Tickets for the event are priced at $50 for adults and $20 for children ages 3 to 17. All proceeds will support the programs and services at Holtz Children’s Hospital.
