Little Man Ice Cream Expands to Cherry Creek with New Location

Little Man Ice Cream, a beloved Denver staple since 2008, is set to open its 11th location in the sought-after Cherry Creek neighborhood later this year. The new shop will be part of Town Pump Provisions, a culinary collective at 2810 E 3rd Ave that will feature a range of chef-driven businesses.

The Town Pump Provisions complex will house three new concepts, including Town Pump Bodega, offering a New York-style bodega experience, and Town Pump Eatery, serving a variety of fast-casual meals such as bacon, egg, and cheese sandwiches.

Dana Monfort, founder of Town Pump Provisions, expressed excitement about the new venture, saying, “As a long-time resident of the Cherry Creek neighborhood, I’ve dreamed of bringing a diverse range of elevated quick-service options that honor the community’s roots.”

Little Man Ice Cream’s Cherry Creek location will offer a mix of classic and original flavors, along with exclusive options created just for the new spot. Paul Tamburello, the shop’s founder, shared his enthusiasm for the collaboration, saying, “We’re excited to join Town Pump Provisions in creating a vibrant community space, and we can’t wait to welcome families to discover a fresh side of Cherry Creek.”

New Tempo Nine Mile Station Apartments Open in Aurora

Tempo Nine Mile Station, a newly opened apartment complex in Aurora, is now welcoming residents. Located at 12150 E. Dartmouth Ave, the five-story building offers 255 units within The Point, a master-planned community.

Developed by Draper and Kramer, Inc., Koelbel and Co., Mile High Development, and Urban Roots Development, the complex is strategically located with easy access to the Regional Transportation District’s H and R light rail lines at Nine Mile station.

Todd Bancroft, CEO of Draper and Kramer, remarked on the significance of the development, saying, “With the opening of Tempo Nine Mile Station, we’re expanding the appeal of this area, offering the modern lifestyle amenities today’s renters want most.”

The complex includes a range of units, from studios to three-bedroom apartments, with sizes ranging from 540 to 1,320 square feet. Rent begins at $1,500 per month, and many apartments feature modern finishes, stainless steel appliances, and in-unit laundry. Some units also include private balconies.

Amenities at Tempo Nine Mile Station include an outdoor pool, co-working spaces, bike and kayak storage, a yoga studio, and a rooftop gym, in addition to around 3,000 square feet of retail space on the ground floor.

Former Colorado Governor Joins Freestone Strategies

Former Colorado Governor Bill Ritter has joined Freestone Strategies, a public affairs firm based in Denver, as a partner. The company, which specializes in policy, government relations, crisis communications, and business development, focuses on issues such as clean energy, climate, and conservation.

Ritter, who served as governor from 2007 to 2011, brings extensive expertise in clean energy and public policy mediation to his new role. After his tenure as governor, Ritter founded and led the Center on the New Energy Economy at Colorado State University.
