Magnum has introduced a new line of indulgent ice cream sticks, dubbed the Utopia range, which includes two luxurious flavors: Double Cherry and Double Hazelnut. These new offerings are marketed as some of the brand’s most premium and indulgent yet, priced at £2.30 for a single 85ml stick and £4.25 for a pack of three 85ml sticks.
The Double Cherry stick features a rich combination of berry-flavored and panna ice cream, drizzled with sour cherry coulis sauce. It is then coated in smooth milk chocolate and topped with crunchy berry-flavored sugar pieces. On the other hand, the Double Hazelnut stick combines hazelnut and caramel almond ice creams, enhanced with a salted hazelnut sauce. This decadent treat is coated in white chocolate, adorned with salted caramelized hazelnuts, almonds, and pistachio pieces.
Daniel Lythgo, Magnum’s UK brand manager, highlighted the importance of innovation in the ice cream category: “We know that successful innovation is key to excite shoppers and drive category growth. With every launch, we continue to push the boundaries of indulgence, and our new marbled ice cream paired with rich sauces and inclusions delivers just that.”
The Utopia range will be supported by a comprehensive advertising campaign starting in June, including TV, out-of-home (OOH) ads, social media promotions, and more. This launch follows the success of Magnum Euphoria, which combined ice cream and sorbet in a previous product release last year.
