NEW CUMBERLAND, Pa. (WHTM) — A popular Cumberland County ice cream shop has announced a change in ownership and an exciting new direction for the business.

Originally opened in 2017, Hanna’s Ice Cream Shoppe, located at 321 Bridge Street in New Cumberland, has officially been acquired by lifelong best friends Dustin LeBlanc and Duke Slifko. The two entrepreneurs, who share a deep connection to the community, are introducing a fresh chapter for the beloved establishment.

LeBlanc, the Managing Director of the West Shore Theatre, which is located adjacent to the ice cream shop, and Slifko, a Senior Project Engineer at STV, Inc., are bringing their vision to the local business. As part of the transition, the shop will be rebranded as “Faye’s Ice Cream Parlor,” named in honor of LeBlanc’s late mother.

The new owners have promised to retain the shop’s nostalgic 1950s theme, offering a vintage-inspired atmosphere that harkens back to the golden era of ice cream parlors. The menu will feature an array of hand-dipped and soft-serve ice cream, sundaes, milkshakes, floats, and an assortment of toppings.

Faye’s Ice Cream Parlor is set to open its doors in March 2025, with operating hours from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, and extended hours on weekends—12 p.m. to 9 p.m. The owners have hinted that once summer arrives, they will further adjust the shop’s hours to accommodate more ice cream lovers.
