Tanner Brothers Dairy, located in Ivyland, has received recognition from the American Dairy Association North East as part of a three-week tour of Pennsylvania creameries. Maddie Smith and Mia Svirsky, two content creators from Washington, D.C., embarked on the journey as “ice cream officers,” sampling and sharing their experiences at various local creameries.
Throughout their travels, they awarded titles like “Best Woman-Run Creamery” and “Best Place for a Date” to various establishments. Tanner Brothers Dairy stood out with the distinction of “Best Dairy History,” due to its longstanding legacy since being founded in 1880. The family-run business began selling milk and ice cream in 1971 and has since expanded to include produce and groceries, earning its place as a cherished community farmer’s market.
