Baskin-Robbins is gearing up to launch a new ice cream flavor next month, replacing a fan-favorite with a limited-edition option that the brand hopes will be just as popular.
Starting March 1, the iconic ice cream chain will introduce Chocolate Chip Cheesecake as its Flavor of the Month. Described as a “dreamy blend” of cheesecake and chocolate cheesecake-flavored ice creams, the treat features decadent cheesecake pieces, crunchy chocolate chips, and cookie crumb swirls. Baskin-Robbins touts the combination as the “ultimate” mix of sweet and savory flavors.
The new flavor will be available in stores and through the Baskin-Robbins app, but fans should act quickly—this limited-time offering will not be around for long.
In addition to the new ice cream, Baskin-Robbins will also offer a special promotion on frozen beverages from March 1 through April. Customers can enjoy a selection of milkshakes made with the Chocolate Chip Cheesecake ice cream, as well as other frozen beverages like Cappuccino Blasts®, real-fruit Smoothies, and Mangonada, for just $5 for a small, $6 for a medium, and $7 for a large.
Nicole Boutwell, Baskin-Robbins’ VP of Marketing and Culinary, expressed enthusiasm for the promotion, stating, “Our $5-$6-$7 frozen beverage deal lets guests enjoy our premium drinks all day long, and it’s the perfect opportunity to treat themselves to our new Flavor of the Month.”
The Chocolate Chip Cheesecake flavor will replace the brand’s “cult classic” Love Potion #31, which will be retired at the end of February or while supplies last. Customers looking to savor the Cupid-inspired favorite will need to act fast before it disappears.
