CINCINNATI (WKRC) – Spring is officially on the way as neighborhood creamy whips and ice cream stands begin to open their doors.
The Mount Healthy Dairy Bar will kick off its season Friday morning at 11 a.m., offering popular treats such as Orange Sherbet, Big Blue Ice Cream, and the signature Monster Cone.
In Loveland, the Loveland Dairy Whip is set to open Friday at 2 p.m. The stand, a community favorite since 1955, is under new ownership this year. The new proprietors promise to uphold the stand’s tradition of serving soft-serve ice cream and other beloved desserts.
Meanwhile, the Lil Goodie Shoppe, located on Eagle Creek Road in Colerain Township, is celebrating its 40th anniversary this weekend. The family-run business, now in its third generation, will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10:40 a.m. on Saturday to mark the milestone.
