LYNCHBURG, Va. (WSET) — Mister Goodies, a beloved ice cream shop on Timberlake Road, has reopened earlier than planned, much to the delight of its loyal customers. Initially set to open on March 5, the shop decided to begin serving again sooner, capitalizing on a forecasted 65-degree Saturday.
Andrew Ulrich, co-owner of Mister Goodies, shared, “We checked the 10-day forecast and saw beautiful weather ahead, so we decided to open up early and take advantage of the sunny, warm day.”
After a long winter, both staff and customers are excited to return. The shop has seen a steady stream of visitors throughout the day, all eager to enjoy the popular homemade ice cream.
Mister Goodies is now open daily, with hours from 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and extended hours on Friday and Saturday, from 12:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
