MOLINE, Ill. — Whitey’s Ice Cream is bringing back its popular Flavor Madness competition in 2025, giving local ice cream enthusiasts the chance to vote for a brand-new flavor to be featured this spring.
Fans of the beloved ice cream chain can participate by casting their votes online, helping to determine which flavor will make its way into stores for a limited time.
This year’s contenders include Scotcheroo, Peanut Butter and Jelly, Salted Brown Butter Cookie Dough, and Strawberry Pretzel, among others.
The competition follows a bracket-style format, starting with 32 flavors. Voting for the first round is open through March 10, with the Sweet 16 round running from March 11-14. The Elite Eight will be determined by March 15-17, followed by the Final Four from March 18-22.
The last two flavors standing will be announced March 23, and the ultimate winner will be crowned on March 27.
