Almost Heaven Ice Cream is bringing a sweet competition to Stark County middle schools with its “Ice Cream Madness” contest, designed to engage students, faculty, parents, and alumni. The contest, inspired by the NCAA’s popular “March Madness” basketball tournament, will run from March 16 to April 7 at the ice cream chain’s four local locations.
The rules are simple: participants must visit one of Almost Heaven’s stores—located in Alliance, Canal Fulton, Plain Township, and Hartville—and support their respective schools by purchasing ice cream. Each location will tally sales, and the school with the highest sales by April 7 will win free ice cream for the entire student body.
The contest includes 16 middle schools across Stark County, including Alliance, Louisville, West Branch, Marlington, North Canton Hoover, Crenshaw (McKinley), Oakwood (Glen Oak), St. Thomas Aquinas, Lake, Lake Christian Center, Waterloo, Field, Massillon, Tuslaw, Jackson, and Northwest middle schools.
In addition to the contest, Almost Heaven is offering a 10% discount to anyone showing school spirit. Students, staff, and alumni who wear school merchandise or present a school ID will receive the discount during their visit.
The contest promises to bring some fun competition to the community, and with free ice cream on the line, it’s sure to have everyone cheering for their schools.
