A new Andy’s Frozen Custard location is now open at 650 NW Barry Road in Metro North Crossing, adding to the growing lineup of restaurants in the area. The frozen custard shop joins neighbors such as Hawaiian Bros., Whataburger, Third Street Social, and Thai Orchid.
To celebrate, the store is featuring special menu items, including the Royals-branded Forever Blue concrete, made with vanilla frozen custard, Butterfinger, Spanish peanuts, and crème caramel. Another specialty offering is the Stone Cold concrete, which includes pretzels, peanut butter, and malted chocolate chips.
Operating hours vary by season. During winter, the shop is open 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. on weekends. In the summer (Memorial Day through Labor Day), hours extend to 11 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to midnight on Fridays and Saturdays.
This location marks the 16th Andy’s Frozen Custard in the Kansas City area. The company, originally founded in 1986 in Osage Beach, Missouri, opened its first Kansas City store in 2015 at 1200 Westport Road.
