MASON, Ohio — A new twist on a beloved Cincinnati treat is set to make its debut at Kings Island this year. The park will introduce freeze-dried blue ice cream, a unique variation of the popular local dessert.
This innovative offering is the brainchild of teen entrepreneur Aubrie, who has teamed up with Kings Island through her business, Freezin’ with Aubrie, to bring freeze-dried treats to the park. The new dessert will be available starting opening weekend.
Visitors to the park will be able to purchase the freeze-dried blue ice cream at various gift shops throughout Kings Island.
Freeze-dried candies have grown in popularity in recent years, with many variations of the treat made from classic candies. The process removes moisture from the candy, resulting in a light, crispy texture that has captivated dessert lovers.
