Echoes of the Past Serves Tractor-Churned Ice Cream at Annual Taste of Ag

by Alice

KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind., April 2025 — Despite chilly weather, local heritage group Echoes of the Past participated in Tuesday’s annual Taste of Ag event, serving up tractor-churned ice cream to attendees at the Kosciusko County Fairgrounds.

According to a news release from the organization, the cooler-than-expected temperatures made ice cream sales a bit slower than hoped. Still, visitors to the event enjoyed a wide variety of attractions spread across three barns, including food samples, agriculture education displays, and booths representing several ag-focused groups from the area.

Echoes of the Past, known for preserving and showcasing agricultural traditions, drew attention with its unique ice cream offering — made using vintage tractor-powered equipment.
