TILLAMOOK, Ore. (April 22, 2025) – Tillamook County Creamery Association (TCCA), the co-op behind America’s rapidly expanding family-sized ice cream brand, is rolling out a new seasonal selection that promises to satisfy summer cravings with a perfect mix of savory and sweet. This year’s lineup introduces two exciting, limited-edition flavors that will delight ice cream lovers across the country.
The new creations, Salty Caramel Pretzel and Apple Crisp, give classic ice cream flavors a refreshing twist.
Salty Caramel Pretzel features a base of salted vanilla ice cream, combined with chocolate-covered pretzel bits and a ribbon of salted caramel. The combination of sweet and salty is sure to leave a lasting impression on fans of both flavors.
Meanwhile, Apple Crisp takes inspiration from a cherished family recipe. The flavor blends vanilla ice cream with baked oatmeal streusel and crisp apple pieces, evoking the warmth and comfort of a homemade apple crisp.
“We spent hours perfecting the Salty Caramel Pretzel flavor,” said Hunter Clayton, Senior R&D Associate Scientist at TCCA. “We wanted to balance the salted caramel and chocolate-covered pretzels in our extra-creamy vanilla ice cream for a treat that embodies summer indulgence.”
For Apple Crisp, Clayton drew inspiration from his mother’s recipe. “The scent and taste of a warm apple crisp are unforgettable, and we wanted to capture that nostalgia in ice cream form,” he added.
In addition to these seasonal delights, Tillamook is bringing back two fan favorites—Orange & Cream and Campfire Peanut Butter Cup. Originally released as limited-edition flavors, these varieties are making their return to Tillamook’s core lineup due to strong consumer demand, ensuring families can enjoy them year-round in family-sized portions.
These new releases follow Tillamook’s successful launch of its first-ever curated collection of dark chocolate ice creams last year. The Tillamook Chocolate Collection, made with 45% more cocoa than the brand’s classic chocolate ice cream, secured the top two spots in family-sized ice cream sales across the entire category in 2024.
As the summer season approaches, Tillamook continues to innovate, bringing bold new flavors to ice cream fans who crave indulgence in every scoop.
