On April 9th, the 2nd Annual Dip’s Ice Cream Truck visits kicked off at the James H. Quillen VA Medical Center, hosted by the Recreational Therapy department for the Community Living Center (CLC) Veterans.
The event allowed veterans to enjoy the sunshine, connect with their peers, and indulge in some delicious ice cream. The visit was a welcome treat, providing both a refreshing break and a sense of community engagement for the veterans.
“Our veterans look forward to seeing Dip’s Ice Cream truck and the friendly faces of its employees each year,” said a spokesperson from the VA Medical Center. Dip’s Ice Cream will continue to surprise the veterans each month throughout the summer, spreading joy and creating lasting memories for those who served.
