As temperatures begin to soar early this summer, Milma is gearing up to meet the rising demand for its delectable range of ice creams, soft drinks, and health beverages in the market.
The production units of three regional unions under the Kerala Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (KCMMF), operating under the brand Milma, have increased their efforts to produce a variety of ice creams, milkshakes, soft drinks, and other treats to cater to the growing seasonal demand.
Chairman of Milma, KS Mani, emphasized the success of the brand’s repositioning exercise launched last year, which has led to a surge in market demand for a wide array of Milma products, including liquid milk. Mani further stated that they have fine-tuned the supply and marketing strategies to fully meet customer demand.
In response to the scorching weather, the supply of cooling products such as curd, yogurt, buttermilk, lassi, and cheese has also been increased significantly.
Milma’s marketing wing has streamlined its supply chain to ensure that these products are readily available at both directly-run outlets and agency stalls to meet the escalating demand. Outlets have been instructed to maintain hygiene and proper refrigeration of products according to the quality control protocols set by Milma.
Milma offers a diverse range of ice cream flavors including vanilla, strawberry, mango, orange, and pineapple, as well as specialty options such as ball ice cream, kulfi, ice cream naturals, and cone ice cream.
Among the classic favorites are Butter Scotch, Spanish Delight, Fig & Honey, Crunchy Badam, Pista, and Chocolate, while the premium selection boasts flavors like Jackfruit, Blueberry, Chickoo, Tender Coconut, Passion Fruit, Fruit & Nut, Spin & Pine, and Guava.
In addition to buttermilk with ginger and the traditional ‘kattimoru’, Milma offers refreshing drinks including mango, pineapple, and vanilla flavored lassi to quench the summer thirst of consumers.
