In celebration of its 60th anniversary, Wawa is inviting customers to enjoy a complimentary cup of coffee on April 16th, coinciding with Ben & Jerry’s Free Cone Day.
On Tuesday, patrons can indulge in a free hot coffee of any size from Wawa’s self-serve coffee bar, without the requirement of additional purchases. Additionally, various other beverages such as teas and lemonades will be available for just 60 cents.
Founded in 1964 and named after its birthplace in Pennsylvania, Wawa began as a dairy farm before expanding into its first deli store. Today, boasting over 1,000 locations primarily along the East Coast, Wawa has garnered a devoted following for its customizable hoagies.
In tandem with Wawa’s celebration, Ben & Jerry’s will be hosting its annual Free Cone Day at its locations nationwide. Originating in 1979 as a gesture of gratitude to customers during its inaugural year in a renovated gas station in Burlington, Vermont, Free Cone Day has become a beloved tradition.
Customers are invited to visit any Ben & Jerry’s scoop shop on Tuesday and enjoy a complimentary cone with their preferred flavor until closing time, with no purchase necessary.
