Ossining, NY – A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on Thursday to celebrate the opening of the new “Penny Lick Ice Cream” shop located on Westerly Road by the waterfront.
Ice cream enthusiasts can enjoy dozens of flavors at the new shop, with recipes that are free of peanuts, tree nuts, and sesame. This Ossining location is the third for Penny Lick Ice Cream, joining its sister stores in Hastings and Mamaroneck.

“The fact that we’re growing in 2024, after a few years of chaos, makes me really, really proud,” said owner Ellen Sledge. “I am very grateful to a supportive business community and our customers in Westchester County, and I appreciate each and every employee.”
