Ice Cream Social and Cookout in Buda to Benefit Local Food Pantry

An ice cream social will be held on Tuesday, June 11, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Younggren Center, located at 102 W. Main St., Buda. The event aims to support the Western Bureau County Food Pantry, with a free-will donation being collected for the cause.

In addition to the ice cream social, a food truck will be stationed on Main Street, offering a variety of sandwiches and snacks. The menu includes ribeye sandwiches ($8), pork chop sandwiches ($4), pork burgers ($4), hot dogs ($4), and drinks and chips ($1 each). The food truck will operate from 4 to 7 p.m., with all proceeds benefiting the food pantry.
