McDonald’s Singapore is inviting customers to strike a pose for a free Hershey’s ice cream cone as it celebrates the return of its Hershey’s chocolate-themed desserts.
In a campaign designed to bid farewell to plain vanilla, participants must form and hold the shape of a letter from the word “Hershey’s” in front of a digital board. When the screen fills with Hershey’s ice cream, they earn their free treat.
“Feeling vanilla? Hershey’s is back to turn vanilla days into an unforgettable chocolatey experience,” announced McDonald’s Singapore on social media. “Two years ago, you guys screamed for Hershey’s. This year, get ready to pose like Hershey’s,” the brand added.
Two years ago, McDonald’s Singapore launched an interactive digital board at Funan Mall where customers screamed for a free Hershey’s ice cream cone. The board used sound technology to transform a plain vanilla cone into a Hershey’s chocolate one, providing 1,200 free ice creams to enthusiastic participants from August 29 to 31.
In its latest buzzworthy activation, McDonald’s Singapore recently introduced a vending machine dispensing its new Yakiniku Burger ahead of the official nationwide launch. On April 24, fans lined up at Plaza Singapura for a free beef or crispy chicken burger with savory yakiniku sauce, caramelized onions, and shredded white cabbage.
