The Seven Sisters Ice Cream Farm near Knutsford has unveiled a new outdoor play area, enhancing its appeal as a perfect summer destination for families. This addition, free for patrons of the ice cream shop, complements the farm’s recent upscale makeover.
Known for its “posh” ice cream, the farm’s main shop, housed in a renovated barn, now features fancy neon lights and pink seating. Since its opening in May 2011 by husband and wife team Rob and Bec Bell, the farm has gained a reputation for quality and charm. Rob manages the farm and milks the cows, while Bec oversees ice cream production. The cows are pampered, ensuring high-quality milk for their signature ice cream.
The new play area includes an adventure fort with climbing walls, a slide, a tunnel, large tractor tires, and a stepping stone walk leading to a giant pink deckchair perfect for selfies. Additionally, a covered barn section features tire horse swings and plenty of seating for parents.
Ice cream prices start at £3.60 for a regular cone and £5 for a double cone, with options to upgrade to chocolate-dipped or sprinkle-dipped varieties. The farm offers a variety of flavors, including raspberry, cake batter, mint crisps, cherry cheesecake, banana, and sorbets like damson and redcurrant. There’s even a “puppy scoop” for dogs.
The farm also features a maize maze that opens in August, transforming into a Halloween-themed trail in autumn.
“We’ve turned it into an Insta cafe with club vibes, house music, and lots of neon,” said Bec, explaining the new pink and neon decor. “We’re just trying to make everyone’s day a little bit better.”
In addition to ice cream, visitors can enjoy milkshakes starting at £5, “posh shakes” with various toppings for £8.95, and an array of sundaes and cakes. The Seven Sisters Ice Cream Farm continues to be a beloved family attraction, combining fun and high-quality treats.
