On Sunday afternoon, an unexpected incident occurred in Georgetown as an ice cream truck collided with the AMC movie theater, as reported by D.C. Fire and EMS.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported from the crash, which occurred around 2 p.m. at the intersection of Wisconsin Avenue and Water Street NW.
Photographs shared by D.C. Fire and EMS depict a vibrant ice cream truck nestled against a shattered floor-to-ceiling window at the theater. Emergency personnel swiftly responded to the scene, cordoning off the area with caution tape.
