During a fan event at the Toledo Mud Hens minor league baseball game on Saturday, the legendary “Jaws” consumed an astounding four pints of ice cream in just one minute.
Chestnut, a 16-time Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest champion, boasts a multitude of world records in competitive eating, predominantly for savory foods. However, his dessert conquests are equally impressive. Notable among them, he consumed 5.9 pounds of funnel cake in 10 minutes in 2009, devoured 121 Twinkies in six minutes in 2013, and downed 55 glazed doughnuts in eight minutes in 2017. In a previous ice cream challenge, Chestnut consumed 25.5 ice cream sandwiches in six minutes in 2018.
