JOHNSTOWN, PA (WJAC) — A new ice cream shop named “Serendipity” has opened in Johnstown, distinguished by its commitment to employing individuals with various disabilities and special needs.
The family-owned business aims to create opportunities for those who may face challenges in the job market. Camden Moors, the owners’ son, emphasized the significance of this initiative, stating, “Many people might feel they can’t work now or in the future, but they are capable and can become great leaders in our society with the right support.”
Jillian Moors, Camden’s sister, echoed his sentiments, adding, “They are wonderful to work with, bringing joy and smiles to everyone’s faces.”
The name “Serendipity,” meaning a happy accident, reflects the unexpected joy the shop hopes to bring to the community.
Serendipity is located at 828 Diamond Blvd, Johnstown, PA, next to the Millhouse Cafe and across from Westmont Elementary School.
